FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

Is my date available?

Please call the store for availability. We recommend booking wedding cakes at least 3 months in advance. All other cakes require a minimum of 2 weeks advance notice.

We are not accepting orders for the following dates:

 
May 20th through May 23rd. 
June 12th and June 13th. 
July 13th through July 18th. 
August 12th through August 15th. 
August 27th through August 29th. 
September 9th through September 11th. 
October 1st through October 3rd. 

 November 25th through November 28th. 
December 25th through January 3rd, 2011. 

 

Do you offer cake tastings?

We offer cake tastings every Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to Noon.

*Cake flavors are subject to availability. Every flavor we offer is not available for tasting weekly*

How much do your cakes cost?

Our cakes are priced individually by the complexity and size of each cake. We will be more than happy to quote you a price by contacting us through this website, calling us at 407-830-8006 or coming into the bakery.

Do you ship cakes?

No, we are working together with packaging and shipping companies to come up with a cost effective and safe way to ship cakes. So far we have been unsuccessful, but are confident we will be able to offer shipping in the near future. If you would like to get put on our notify list, please contact us.

What is your payment policy?

A 50 Percent deposit is required for all cakes with the exception of wedding cakes that require a deposit of 30 percent. 

 Final payment is due two weeks before your scheduled event. Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment in full. Out of state orders are required to be paid in full at time of order. 

 Please be aware deposits are non-refundable due to our tight schedule for each event. 

 If you are using one of our cake stands we also must have a check made out to Bake Me A Cake for $350.  We do not cash that check unless you do not return our stand within 5 days, after this a late fee will apply. A good idea is to assign someone before the event to return the stand. Once the stand is returned to us your check is returned to you. 
Do you deliver?

 Delivery is available for wedding cakes and cakes that require special assembly. Delivery is determined by the distance of the event.
